archive 26- PHANTOM LIMB+ TETUZI AKIYAMA “hot
ginger” CD
Pressing of 500 copies of one time
meeting between Akiyama, who was on an extensive US tour at the
time and, Phantom Limb. Live recording by myself from
free103point9 in Brooklyn of this quartet that was configured
as Jamie Fennelly and Shawn Hansen on organs and Chris Forsyth
and Akiyama on guitars. Single track of brooding improvisations
and droning that runs roughly 30mins long. Graphic work by
Fritz Welch and hand silkscreened covers done up by Alan Sherry
at SIWA.

archive 27- ASTRAL TRAVELING UNITY “studio and
live” CD
Studio and live offering from Hiroshi
Hasagawa’s drone oriented group Astral Traveling Unity
made up of Hirohisi on synth. Junzo Suzuki on guitar, Yammato
electric sitar Yamauchi electric violin and Shiro, and Fumie on
electronics and toys. Makota Kawabata did a fly by and plays
some guitar on the live portion.
Pressing of 600 copies with printed
transparent front covers.

archive 28- JACK ROSE CD
Basically a tour CD for Jack who had been
playing extensively but hardly a throw away release by the
amazing Mr Rose. 7 tracks featuring Jack playing slide lap
guitar recorded over two sessions the last of which with Mike
Gibbons of Bardo Pond. Styles wander the full range for Jack
from ragtime to Ragas. Pressing of 1000 copies that quickly
sold out. Layout and design work by Keith Utech of Utech
records. Features a letterpress diecut cover with a turn of the
century photo of some of Mr Rose’s kin from Richmond area
inserted. I waited a long time to get a Jack Rose release under
my belt but I think the final CD was well worth the time.

archive 29- LASSE MARHAUG/ CARLOS GIFFONI “lesbian
brunch” CD
Collaborative recordings from two well
known and prolific artists from different parts of the world.
Recorded in Lasse’s studio in early 2006 while Giffoni
was on tour in those parts of the world. Given the players I
don’t think the content should be a huge secret. 500
copies with graphic work from Lasse. Different style sleeve for
this release with the front folding out from the middle much
like shutters on a window to reveal the disc attached inside on
a clear plastic hub.

archive 30- NADJA “thaumogenesis” CD
A behemoth of a release dropped on me by
Aidan Baker and Leah Buckareff. We had been talking about a
release of some type after I got ultra hooked on his solo works
and he kicked this content over to me for my label. 60+ min 1
track disc the lumbers along with highs and lows and plodding
drum tracks that brings to mind comparisons of godsflesh and
Jesu. Pressing of 600 copies that sold very quickly, if I had
known how quickly this one would get gobbled up I would have
done the full thousand but oh well. Fantastic graphic work from
Seldon Hunt on this release which also comes in the center
folding front sleeve (like shutters on a window opening to
reveal CD attached inside)

archive 31- NUMINOUS EYE “with a little help” CD
8 track live recordings of Mason Jones
(of subarchnoid space) from tour in Japan in 2005 performing
three different duets with drummers Yoshida, Shirahata, and
Komatsu. From up-tempo almost prog type work to blown psych
freak-out. Pressing of 500 copies with graphic work from Mason
on this release.
