BASSETT/ GIFFONI "organized anatomy" CD blossoming noise
What you have here is a middle ground meeting between a bit more flush in density then most of Marcia's other releases and a bit more space induced then most of Carlo's material. Hence a collaboration in a true sense of the concept.

SUISHOUNOFUNE "Phantom of the eternal light" CD There records
Early 2009 japanese released CD and the most current offering the mysteriously dark and shrouded Tokyo group. Features four long playing tracks that were recorded live in studio in Japan as a quartet configuration. Sweeping slow motions drenched in reverb and blackness covered with the haunting vocals of Pirako and Kageo.

FOUR DIMENSIONS TWIST part2 “Parallel dancers” CD rouman records

DARSOMBRA “eternal jewel” CD public guilt
Guitar driven solo works from Brain Daniloski of the Baltimore famous export Meatjack. Strongly differing from other solo guitar noodlers by being more focused on more conventional song structures rather then freeflow fuzz and feedback, perhaps due to a much stronger background in the fine arts of heavy and metal. If this guy toured I think he’d take off a good bit. Comes in a nicely design gatefold type sleeve with artwork from Kasner.

DEMIAN JOHNSTON”a fortress at terra sea” CDR self released
Current works from Demian whose name might be well known from a handful of the bands he once committed his guitar playing services to (Playing Enemy, Kiss It Goodbye). Solo recordings here in a much different vein from prior bands mentioned sourcing effects and electronics which purveys landscapes of different textures and sound scapes. Super small run pressing of 50 copies is super nicely executed sleeves that mix vellum and fine printing techniques. No wonder I asked this guy to do layouts for me archive (500mg, Paul Metzger)LAST COPY   AUDIO SAMPLE HERE

AUFGEHOBEN “khora” CD holy mountain
Had this release drop on my out of the blue from John over at Holy Mountain, a quick trip to the CD tray revealed a pretty brutal clubbing of electronics worked over heavy by driving drums. A bit more harsh noise then noise rock, and a bit less harsh noise then power electronics if that makes senses. But this one straddled those two things some where in between. I don’t know much about the grouping, which I think is from the UK, but might have to hunt out some more of this formable groups output.
